U9 - U10 “Advanced”

Registration in ASIB CDC Fundamental Development Programs CDC 5

U9 (2012) – U10 (2011) “Advanced”: 2 CDC with possibility of one game per week *, including 2 jerseys, 1 short, 2 socks: $ 475.00

Description of the program:

The model is particularly important at this stage of development. Children are starting to identify with famous players and successful teams. They want to learn creative gestures and therefore demonstrating these gestures is particularly important. They go from a self-centered state to a critical state with a high level of stimulation during basic skills training.

The mission is to stimulate them in this direction and keep this passion alight so that they thrive in the long term with more frequent practice and more repetition of technical gestures to adopt. Fun must be paramount as they are at a crucial developmental age and we want to focus on the individual with the team.

Program objectives:

6. Basic technical skills (Driving, Dribbling, Passing, Control and Shooting)
7. Game principle linked with the club’s game model
8. 7vs7 team concept
9. Initiation and gradual understanding of play times
10. Have FUN

Program duration and typical schedule:

The U9-U10 “Advanced” program runs from May to October for 22 consecutive weeks of activity (May 3 to October 3, 2021). The program is open to everyone and the number of places is directly linked to the number of qualified coaches we have while respecting the Educator / Player ratio set up by Soccer Quebec. In other words, there are no trials for this program. Orientation days are held in September of each year to direct players to a program specific to their needs. Children will have 2 training sessions per week and one game per week (between 12 and 16 games in total *).

Our U9-U10 “Advanced” groups participate in the Lac Saint-Louis development league during the summer period from May to September 2021.

The goal is to continue to improve the young player with the ball by giving him a pleasant experience with even more challenge so that he will want to come back every session. The CDC program meets the requirements of the new development standards put in place by the Canadian Soccer Association under the control of the Quebec Soccer Federation.

* Integration of an opposition in a form played every week during each CDC training + possibility of an additional friendly meeting depending on the context.
